Lavani Jewels x Ana Bella Foundation
Social ResponsibilityLavani is a team of young, active, resolute, energetic and very committed to the problems of today's society. We are very aware that with the amount of followers and online visits that we accumulate, we have a great visibility and we want to generate a positive impact with it. Being all women in the team, the first fight in which we chose to contribute our bit was the Lavani is fighting against gender violence together with the Ana Bella Foundation.
Your sister. Your friend from school. Maybe a friend from college. Or your co-worker. The girl who serves you lunch. Or maybe the girl who shares a car with you on the subway. Maybe today, one of them will be on the news. Last weekend, 4 of them made the news. And why? For being victims of gender violence.
We all have 10 friends, or at least 10 acquaintances. And at least 1 of them, suffer or will suffer gender-based violence at some point in her life. In the Lavani team, we are 10 women. 10 women ready to change the statistics. Willing to do their bit so that those 150,000 victims of male violence in Spain can be happy again. But we need your help.
In 2018, we came across a foundation that we fell in love with because of the very positive spirit with which they offer their help to so many women, victims of violence.
Ana Bella has been in operation since 2006 and is comprised of a global network of volunteer women survivors.
In addition, the foundation seeks supportive housing for women who become homeless, and has a school for empowerment women's center to help them find decent work.
"In Ana Bella Foundation we help battered women, making them break the silence and recover their lives as survivors and empowered women and not as victims." - Ana Bella Estévez
Solidarity jewelry
In 2018 we launched this solidarity initiative and created the pendant "No More Tears.", composed of two tear-shaped pieces in representation of all those women who have shed tears and whose benefits went entirely to the Ana Bella Foundation, which fights to help women who suffer gender violence.
You, #LavaniGirls, went all out with the initiative and made possible a donation that gave a boost to the role played by the Ana Bella Foundation, as important as it is necessary.
In the following years we decided to rejoining forces and present the bracelet "No More Tears"whose The profits are again 100% destined to the Ana Bella Foundation.. It is the same model in bracelet, with that engraved message that has a very special meaning: "No more tears".
It is our way of supporting and raising awareness of the importance of continuing to fight and raise our voices once again.
For this initiative, we have counted on the help of Xargay, who already represented this cause last year. Player of the Spanish Basketball National Team, two times European champion. Olympic runner-up. World runner-up and bronze medalist in the Women's Basketball World Championship. An example of overcoming for all women that captures the essence of the message we want to convey.
