3. Stages of healing of a piercing

 

There are three stages a piercing goes through while healing:

- Just done: this is the period in which you should be more careful because your piercing will be sensitive and you may feel pain, even have an inflammation. Feeling this slight discomfort is normal at this time.

- Healing: as a piercing heals from the inside, this period requires patience. There may still be some discomfort, so care must be taken to continue healing.

4. How to cure an ear piercing, step by step.

The following steps are marked so that your piercing heals completely in the estimated period and heals perfectly. You have to do it about 2-3 times a day during the time indicated by a specialist (15-20 days). After that, once a day will be enough for the next couple of months - don't skip any steps!

- Do not touch the piercing while it is healing unless instructed otherwise.

- Try not to sleep on the side of the piercing or talk on the cell phone on that side to avoid any bacteria.

- Be careful with chemicals as in cosmetics. If you are going to dye your hair, postpone one of the two.

- Be careful when changing clothes or combing your hair as a slight carelessness can cause the piercing to get caught, which will cause a lot of pain.
