January arrives. January of the long awaited 2021 and as every year, the new year's resolutions arrive. Do you feel motivated for this 2021? Have you set goals and objectives for this year?
The most important thing is that you set realistic goals and know that they are in your hands. Getting organized and having your environment organized is key to being able to meet all these objectives.
Today we bring you 6 tips to become the organised person you've always wanted to be and to keep those resolutions that fall on deaf ears every year.
1. Organize your personal space.
Your jewellery box, your wardrobe, your kitchen or pantry... if your surroundings are a mess? how are you going to be able to organise yourself?
- Get rid of those clothes you haven't worn in the last year, that big sale dress you bought "just in case" that you know you're not going to wear.
- Organize your jewelry box. Who hasn't had their pendants tangled? Leave your jewelry in order and you will feel fulfilled.
- That pantry where all the flours and baking stuff from confinement piles up. Check everything, look at expiration dates and keep the good stuff. You will see what a relief!
2. Organize your professional space.
Whether you work in an office or from home, having your space organized is essential. Many times we feel overwhelmed by our surroundings with all those postits, pens and more materials that we don't really need. Minimize your work tools and you will see your productivity soar.
3. Organize your ideas
- Physical planner: you can make your own bullet journal or choose planners like our favorites from Lucia Be or Charuca. Write down all your important ideas, quotes and thoughts and don't leave anything for later. The worst thing that can happen to you is that you forget those valuable thoughts that come to you when you least expect it.
- Digital agenda or reminders: for the more modern ones, if you have a tablet like the iPad there are many options to create your digital agenda. Another option is to use the cell phone calendar or reminders. Our favorite are the reminders as they don't disappear from your screen until you have finished them.
4. Create a routine
Whether it's making yourself a Starbucks-worthy coffee at the same time every day, or creating a skincare routine to glow, creating a routine will help you wake up and clear your head to start your day in a great way. We are big fans of doing a coffee routine with a fit breakfast to get energized for the day. Would you like to see recipes? Write us on Instagram!
5. Keep your digital devices organized to avoid accumulating hundreds of notifications
Seeing your mobile screen like this is a total burden. Uninstall the apps you don't use, deactivate unnecessary notifications and check the remaining ones every morning or evening to keep your personal or professional digital space always clean.
6. Set motivational wallpapers
Normally the cell phone is the first thing we look at when we wake up. And being able to have this extra motivation as soon as you open your eyes every day is a must. We have designed four super motivating and perfect wallpapers to help you meet all your goals for 2021.
We leave them below for you to download or take a screenshot. To download you have to press and hold on the photo and click "save" or "add to photos", depending on your device.
